What is Systems Guides?
It is an educational reference site about how physical, operational and engineered systems work.
Is this an engineering site?
No. It explains concepts for general readers and does not provide designs, calculations, inspections or professional approvals.
Why are there several sections?
The same system concepts appear in different settings, but transport, water, energy and maintenance have different assets, constraints and operating realities.
What happened to the former standalone section sites?
The useful material was consolidated here to reduce repeated legal pages, duplicate article frameworks and fragmented navigation.
Are the tools private?
They run in the browser. The site does not intentionally receive or store values entered into them.
Can I use an article as an operating procedure?
No. Use approved site procedures, qualified professionals, manufacturers and responsible authorities.
Why do some old URLs redirect?
Overlapping pages were merged into stronger guides, and some digital-infrastructure topics now point to the dedicated Digital Infrastructure site.
How do I report an error?
Use the WRS help desk and identify the page, statement and reliable basis for correction.
